I got to know Geliah & Brian when I had the privilege of shooting their wedding film last fall. I came to enjoy their company so readily as they are two people who are just so genuinely themselves. They are a balance of fire and water, urban and nature. For our session together, we decided to split our time to celebrate both sides. I felt real grateful we got to reconnect this fall for these portraits to celebrate their one year anniversary.
I can hardly describe the beauty of Hatcher Pass in the fall. It’s like a symphony of gold and rust and crimson singing out from all sides. The kind of beauty that absolutely blows your mind. Ashley & Joe found their way to Alaska for their very own fall elopement, just the two of them here to seal the deal and celebrate their love.

Geliah and Brian are two self-proclaimed indoor dwellers. They are obsessed with their dogs and can put away a season of Orphan Black on Netflix like nobodies business. Outside the walls of their home, they are lovers of the city and connoisseurs of culture and science. They know what they like and they know who […]
— If I could think of one way to describe this wedding, I would tell you it was a day full of complete and unadulterated joy. Outside the snow fell gentle and fluffy, one of those perfectly gray snow globe sort of days. Inside there was warmth and love and support so palpable I couldn’t […]
— When I was about 15 years old, I came across a book called “The Beauty Book.” It was a colorfully illustrative look at beauty through the ages. Page after page, it explored different cultures throughout various eras and painted a picture of what it meant to be an attractive woman at that time. I […]
