A wedding is so much more than the sunrise to sunset of one single day. You two are here because of everything that led you to this point: no choice without meaning, no turn taken without effect. God is in the details and I am entranced by every ordinary detail in the love stories of extraordinary people. My process in wedding videography is incredibly personal and my approach is deeply intentional. I spend a lot of time with my couples sharing stories and getting to know one another before the wedding day. Through a mixture of wedding-day footage, special coverage, and personal videos from your archives, I work to create a film that feels specifically and beautifully like you. Check out a collection of selected wedding films below. If my style resonates with you, I’d love to connect! Get in touch here for more info on pricing and availability.
Niki & Chepo's best man said it best when he described their celebration as the biggest wedding "since Prince Harry's royal wedding." This party was one for the ages with 500 guests, a mariachi band, and a sixteen foot fresh floral chandelier over the dance floor. It is no surprise that Niki & Chepo have such a wide circle of people that love them as Chepo's Mexican Restaurant is a fixture in the community where they live. It's where they met and fell in love and ultimately the place that shaped their story.
It was a day at the end of September when a curtain of thick black clouds stretched across the sky burying the sun. It was Lorenzo & Armie’s first time to Alaska and this bout of truly absurd weather just happened to be on their wedding day. Their souls, however, are intrinsically daring and nothing would stop them. They came to celebrate their elopement among the mountains and even if that meant celebrating in the middle of a hailstorm, they were more than down!
While mental health is a subject too taboo for some to speak of, Kendra was quick to open up about her journey and the integral part Austin played very early on in their relationship. A wedding is undoubtedly a celebratory occasion, but what is the celebration without honoring the uphills and victories alike that brought you to that day? As a filmmaker, it’s an incredible privilege to tell true stories and I’m very grateful Kendra & Austin let me tell their story like this.
Just days before he would see his only daughter marry, Chip Gallagher passed away. When the Gallaghers came back to Alaska to lay Chip to rest, they planned the funeral for a Friday. In the four days leading up to it, everyone in Kelcy’s hometown community decided to band together to throw the wedding that never got to be. I am honored to have been let into their experience and forever grateful they let me make this film for them.
There is something awfully magical about the tiny seaside town of Whittier, Alaska. Brienne & Jason knew in their hearts that they wanted a wedding that was about just the two of them. And when they decided on Alaska, they picked Whittier as the place where they would tie the knot. Amidst the spawning salmon and the small beachfront cafes, they soaked in a day dedicated to their love. These two are beautifully opposite and yet so complimentary to one another. I know you'll enjoy getting to know they as much as I did!
