Adventure Elopement Video in Seward Alaska

Her Favorite Place In The World

Brittany & Larry met while working summer jobs in Seward years ago. It’s their special place. She describes it as “her favorite place in the world.” When they decided to elope, they planned the most wonderful celebration for themselves including a boat tour of the bay, an intimate seaside ceremony, and drinks at the Yukon Bar – the place where they first met.

Brittany & Larry are the kind of people who make you feel like family. They fed us amazing food all day long, unreservedly shared their joy and laughter, and even let us join in on a toast at the bar to cheers the beginning of their marriage! It was a perfect day in the company of the perfect people. I’m so glad I got to film this adventure elopement video in Seward Alaska.

The Joy of Working With Friends

I got to shoot this wedding alongside my pals over at The Adams Co. (always such a treat). Multiple times over the past few months, I have found myself telling Grace, “Man, filming Brittany & Larry’s adventure elopement video in Seward Alaska was such a killer way to end last year!” And it truly was.

Grace and I decided to blog this wedding on the same day, so be sure to check out The Adams Co’s latest blog to see incredible photographs from this day! Enjoy the film and these bonus behind the scenes pics of their day.

Thank you Brittany & Larry for sharing your special day with us and three cheers to the other amazing vendors who brought this day to life! They include Tom at Miller’s Landing (boat captain, cabin host, and all around delight of a human), Amie Smithwick with her glam magic, Tanya Val with her crazy good floral art, and of course The Adams Co. on photos. Many thanks as well to Tyler Fenton for assisting me in filming!

I’m excited to say I’ve already booked another Seward wedding for next summer and I cannot wait to go back. Truth be told, it’s probably my favorite place in all of Alaska. ♥️

Love to you all,
L
