Brought to by Lauren Roberts & Tanya Val (with hair and makeup by Ebb & Flo Hair Boutique), Florals In Nude is a collaborative boudoir event that celebrates the undeniable beauty of the female body through the integration of custom floral creations! We’re so excited about this collaboration as it celebrates two things very near to our hearts. Our bodies, alike flowers, are all works of art- each one it’s own unique landscape of shapes and colors, textures and forms. Come spend the day with us as we celebrate the unparalleled beauty of your natural canvas and accentuate every curve and valley with colorful petals and leaves.

Sessions include a pre-shoot phone date, 30 minute boudoir session with custom florals from Tanya Val, edited images on USB + print release, online gallery, and a 5×7 gallery board print. Keep it simple or customize your package with any of the special Add Ons like flower crowns, combs, earrings, hair and makeup and a collection of delicious photo albums! Lauren is a local Alaskan photographer who believes in empowering women through the art of boudoir photography. Her uniquely personal approach is both loving and comforting as she invites her clients into a space where their bodies are celebrated exactly as they are. She embraces each shoot as an opportunity to affirm the beauty she sees in each woman leaving them with a renewed sense of confidence in themselves.

Tanya is a local Alaskan florist who’s passion for floral design is inspired by a deep appreciation for how things grow in the wild. From foraging for greens to carefully hand-picking seasonal blooms she curates every arrangement with a thoughtful and artistic approach. Her style is wild and romantic and every floral creation is an extension of nature.

MaryAlice is a local Alaskan Hair and Makeup Artist and a literal angel on earth. Her soothing voice and calming presence washes over you like a peaceful wave as she works her glam magic on you. She loves being a catalyst in her work, walking people home to themselves. She is fulfilled watching beauty come alive and treasures her ability to use hair, makeup, and fashion to express herself and connect to humanity. Her creativity is fueled by traveling, love, being near the ocean, and sharing stories.

Q&As:
Q: Where will Florals In Nude take place?
A: Florals In Nude will be held in Lauren’s studio in downtown Anchorage!
Q: Who will see my photos?
A: It is entirely up to you. You may choose to keep your photos totally private or allow them to be shared with varying degrees of exposure. After your session, you will be able to individually select which photos (if any) are shared and how.
Q: What florals are included in my session?
A: Tanya will be constructing a custom floral backdrop as well as an assortment of arrangements and loose stems for use in your shoot. You can also choose to add on a flower crown, comb, or earrings to your package!
Q: Can I add buy floral add ons the day of the shoot?
A: It is ideal to know which add ons you would like at the time of booking. However, if you need a bit of time to decide you have until 2 weeks before the event to add on floral extras. Albums and products can be added on at any time. Photo products return to full price if you decide to add add on post-shoot.
Q: Will you retouch my body in photoshop?
A: Barring a rogue pimple, absolutely not. Florals in Nude is a safe space for all bodies and I believe in celebrating your body exactly as it is. This isn’t about posing to look skinnier or shooting to hide your perceived “flaws” (not a thing BTW). We’re here to create imagery that celebrates YOU!
Q: I’m ready to book! How do I reserve my spot?
A: I require a 50% deposit and a signed contract to reserve your spot. The remaining payment is due by the day of the event. Session slots will be available from 10AM-5PM and I will try and accommodate timing requests as best I can. If you have any availability constraints, please let me know at the time of booking.
