If I could think of one way to describe this wedding, I would tell you it was a day full of complete and unadulterated joy.
Outside the snow fell gentle and fluffy, one of those perfectly gray snow globe sort of days. Inside there was warmth and love and support so palpable I couldn’t help but be affected by it. Throughout the whole day, it was easy to see they were just so happy – happy to be with each other and genuinely delighted to be getting married.
Amber and Jesse were wed within the warm wooden walls of Response Church in the presence of everyone they call friends. There was feasting and toasting, kids that crawled under tables and took over the piano. It was warm and altogether lovely- the kind of warmth you soak in with your eyes and feel in your spirit.
At the end of the night we escaped to the empty fair grounds of Fur Rondy to play and make portraits just before they turned the lights out.
I am grateful to have shared in such a magical winter day. Cheers to my friends Amber and Jesse!
