There are people in your life who stick.

Allie is one of those people for me. At a fairly low time in my life, she was the beautiful soul who slept over at my house and watched movies with me. She ate junk food with me and took me shopping just to give me a comfort and give me love.

We lost touch when she moved away years ago. Even so, I look back and she’s one of those people that just sticks for me. Someone who created this special alternative space where things were nice and lovely, even if just for a little while.

She came back this past December and asked me to photograph her and her now husband Jon. And it was such a sweet experience for me to share in the space they have created with each other.

And so, bloggedy blog friends, this is Allie & Jon and these are the photos we took together.
