This past October I boarded the milk run plane bound for Wrangell, AK.
1 hour to Juneau and a a few whopping 12 minute flights as we pin balled our way to Wrangell. I stepped off the plane into an airport the size of a postage stamp. And as I waited for my ride on a bench out front, the local police man looked my way and asked ‘Excuse me, do you have ride coming? Do you need a ride?’
Only in tiny towns.
Only in tiny towns where no one wears seat belts.
And you wave to Dan the produce man as he speeds down the hill on his longboard.
Where the hospitality is rich.
And the people are better.
It’s a different way of living- life on the island.
The three gorgeous senior women could tell you all about it.
Erica, Kristin, & Calleigh traipsed all around the island, braving the rain and still looking downright lovely, as only badass Alaskan women do.
Here’s what it looks like for them to be seniors.

I think I need to go to Wrangell! What a beautiful place! Gorgeous portraits as well, Lauren. I think these girls should all feel really beautiful right about now.
Awww. These are some of my students. 🙂 Great pictures. 🙂
