DENALI NATIONAL PARK ELOPEMENT | MARY & ALLEN

Feb 6

On a little wood stoop of a tiny log church with a bright red door in a little tiny town, Mary & Allen said their wedding vows in the company of their families. Just outside of Denali National Park in Nenana, Alaska it was a far cry from their hometown of Chicago and just the kind of low-key, big-beauty celebration they wanted.

I’ve only had the chance to shoot around Denali a few times in my career and it is truly lovely. After Mary and Allen’s ceremony, we drove to the Savage River Trailhead to shoot their portraits. It’s as far as you can go on the park road before the cut off and I have to tell you- it’s other worldly out there.

I’m so grateful to Mary & Allen for choosing me to document their wedding day. It was small and wonderful and full of smiles you could catch like a cold.

In other news, I’m releasing brand new wedding, elopement, and portrait packages (for both film & photo) on March 1st! It’s been three years since I’ve updated my packages and I’m excited for the new offerings to come!

February will be the last month to book at my current rates. So if you’ve been thinking about booking me for your 2019 wedding, let’s do it! And if you’ve been considering an engagement, anniversary, or a family session I’m opening up February 15-17 and February 22-24 for portrait sessions. Portrait sessions start at $500 and include 1 hour of shooting, all the best edited images in an online gallery and on a USB plus print credit. Get yourself on my books baby!

Lots and lots and lots of love,
Lauren
