Alike many of the great tales, Amanda and Blake’s story starts in a bar. A touch of annoyance and a hug in the parking lot gave way to hours on the phone and what started as perfectly timed friendship turned into serious devotion by way of life’s unexpected circumstances.

Blake and Amanda’s love is kind and genuine. They are partners in everything and their wedding was a beautiful thing to watch.

Every year they make it a point to visit one new state together. Just something they always do together, just the two of them. Alaska was big on their minds for a while: a guaranteed epic adventure. When they decided an intimate seaside wedding would be just the ticket, it seemed perfectly perfect that they couple their first trip to Alaska with the day they’d wed. Just the two of them and a few beloveds on the windy beaches of Bird Point.
