In early April of this year I was lucky enough to be able to visit my dear friends Lea and Austin in Minneapolis. Not too long ago, they purchased their first house just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the neighborhood where Lea and I met nearly seven years ago.

Different homes have different feelings when you walk in, like the atmosphere inside is almost palpable.
Being hemmed in by Lea and Austin’s four walls feels like…

Late night full-bellied laughter.
Like the comfort of being seen for who you really are.
Like the big breath that comes when you can relax and be totally yourself.

During the spring week I spent in Minnesota, Lea and Austin’s home was a haven for me. A place where I felt deeply welcomed and deeply loved.

I’m sure I’m not the first to feel that in their home.

One day during my stay, I got to make some photos for my friends- what a freaking joy for me.
