I’ve been photographing Kristyn & Taylor for almost 5 years now, since before they were even married. As in, before before before, like still in high school and going to prom before.

It’s one of the greatest joys of this job, following a life and being invited back with each milestone. It’s like we’ve been dancing together for years. They know my rock step and I know the groove of their kick ball change. I know I can let my creativity roam as free as I want, and they know they can trust me.

One dynamically cloudy Sunday with just a ribbon of orange sun in the wintery distance, we took to the flats to honor baby Levi with photographs of his parent’s sweet anticipation.

You may notice, as luck (and intentional wardrobe planning) would have it Kristyn wore the very same dress in her maternity shoot that she wore when I photographed them for the very first time at prom. Don’t believe me? Proof I give to you sweet angels!
