KRISTYN & TAYLOR || LOVERS IN RED ROCKS

May 12

So.
Who remembers when they went to prahm? I sure do. And two months from now, we’ll being saying, “Who remembers when that gorgeous couple had the raddest & baddest time taking photos in Denver?”

After my rock-my-world time in Seattle, I flew to Colorado. Land of the most beautiful rocks.
By way of bus after bus, Kristyn and Taylor made the most loving two hour long trek to the airport to claim me. I’ve known this girl for years, and loved her for that long. Now, I was in her city, with her man who had come to be considerably more than her prahm date.

They love each other a lot. And they take care of each other really well. I got a passenger seat view to see he would literally do anything for her. And she, she has a solid adoration for him that’s been almost seven years in the making. From pimples and braces to faces like this.

It would be hard NOT to fall in love.

PLAY.

Ashes to ashes and flower crown to flower crown, we took Colorado and savored it for all the beauty it could hand us. Many handkerchiefs were used to wipe the drool from my chin as I explored awestruck at all of the new colors and new light.

My grandma (fondly known as GMama. She’s pretty hip.) loves to travel. My mom loves to travel. And inherently, from this lineage and by growing up as a military brat, I also love the new lands. And that was fully confirmed for me on this trip.

New places, new colors, new light, new people…

I love to have roots. I love the familiar. And strangely enough, the unfamiliar unceasingly makes me nervous. But despite that, when the time and opportunity allows, there’s a gypsy heart in me passed down from the mama’s before that loveslovesloves the unacquainted of new places.
